The invention discloses a reduction, magnetization and roasting process for low-grade metal minerals in a rotary kiln. The process comprises the following steps: quantitatively preparing smashed and qualified materials in a ratio and then feeding the materials to the rotary kiln for magnetic roasting; injecting fuel in a kiln head, throwing partial pea coal with a particle size of 0-12mm from thekiln head of the rotary kiln body to the inside of the rotary kiln, wherein the coal throwing amount is 2-10% of amount of treated raw minerals; and simultaneously, feeding the minerals and pea coal into the inside of the kiln at the tail of the kiln according to the proportion, wherein the proportion of the pea coal is 2-10% of that of treated raw minerals. The process has the advantages of wideapplication range, good roasting effect, large treatment amount and the like.
