The invention relates to the electrophoretic display device technology, and provides a touch screen type electrophoretic display device, which comprises an electrophoretic display device and a first light guide plate, wherein the light guide plate is bonded with the electrophoretic display device through a first optical rubber layer; a containing area is formed on a surface edge of the first optical rubber layer close to the light guide plate; the electrophoretic display device also comprises a light emitting device that is set inside the containing area and a light block rubber belt that is set on a surface of the light guide plate away from the first optical rubber layer; the positive projection of the light block rubber belt on the light guide plate covers the containing area; the electrophoretic display device also comprises a touch control unit; the touch control unit is bonded with the light guide plate through the second optical rubber layer; and the light block rubber belt is located between the touch control unit and the light guide plate. By adopting the touch control type electrophoretic display device provided herein, the light block rubber belt is used to block the light emitted from the light emitting unit, thus effectively avoiding the problem of uneven brightness and light leakage on sides of the light guide plate.
