THE IMPORTANCE TO RADIOLOGISTS OF RECENT ADVANCES IN CYTOLOGY AND CYTOGENETICS

The appearance of tumor cells in the peripheral and regional blood in cancer patients and its importance to radiologists are discussed. Data on frequency of tumor cells in the regional and peripheral blood of patients with various cancers are tabulated. (P.C.H.)
