Literatura ou lição de vida? Uma proposta de análise de Ulpiana, de Bernadette Lyra

Este artigo analisa a obra mais recente de Bernadette Lyra Ulpiana, publicada pela editora A Lapis, em 2019. Partimos da discussao de que elementos biograficos da autora comparecem na obra e sao fundamentais para sua plena compreensao. Tambem mostramos que a narrativa textual se aproxima muito da cinematografica, gracas a identificacao dos enquadramentos, dos cortes e das elipses. Retomamos a ideia de que narrar e curar, defendida por Boris Cyrulnik e por Walter Benjamin, e concluimos que o tema da morte, que permeia toda a ficcao, e o fio condutor que amarra as personagens e os leitores. O referencial teorico para a literatura e o critico literario Antonio Candido e para a morte e sua representacao midiatica, Philippe Aries e Miriam Cristina Carlos Silva, respectivamente. Morte – Tema literario. Literatura e cura.   ABSTRACT: This article analyzes Bernadette Lyra's latest work Ulpiana, published by A Lapis, in 2019. We start from the discussion that the author's biographical elements that appear in work are fundamental to its full understanding. We also demonstrate that the textual narrative is very close to the cinematic one, thanks to the identification of the frames, cuts and ellipses. We take up the idea that narrating is healing, supported by Boris Cyrulnik and Walter Benjamin, and we conclude that the theme of death, which permeates all fiction, is the common thread that ties all its characters and readers. The theoretical background for literature is the literary critic Antonio Candido and for death and its media representation, Philippe Aries and Miriam Cristina Carlos Silva, respectively.
