The Epidemic Characteristics of Novel Coronavirus Infected Pneumonia in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region/ 宁夏地区新型冠状病毒肺炎疫情特点分析

Objective To explore the epidemic status and infectious characteristics of novel coronavirus-infected pneumonia in Ningxia, and to provide a reference for precision territoriality prevention and control Methods Medical records of diagnosed cases of novel coronavirus infection in Ningxia by the end of February 17 were reviewed and data were abstracted Then descriptive method was used to explore the distribution of epidemic trends and characteristics, and spatial autocorrelation analysis was performed to draw data association maps Results A total of 70 diagnosed novel coronavirus pneumonia cases and 27 suspected cases were identified in Ningxia, and no death happened by the end of February 17, 2020 Among the diagnosed cases, the male to female ratio was 1 13∶1, age was ranged from 3 to 77 years with an average age of 40±18 years There were 21(30 0%) imported cases, and 32 86% were peasants The latent period ranged from 1 to 14 days, median latency was 6 days The significant geographical clustering feature indicated that Tongxin county has the most number of cases (15), and 8 counties had no case;39 cases (55 71%) were obviously familial aggregation infection, which were from 12 families Moran’s I index analysis found no spatial distribution correlation(P>0 05), its global Moran' s I= 0 24, Z=1 97, P=0 48 There was no correlation between the global spatial distribution and local autocorrelation analysis Tongxin county was the hotspot area of local autocorrelation analysis There were 10 patients with no symptoms and most patients had fever or cough (50 00%), and some patients had 5 symptoms There was no correlation between the number of symptoms and the age of patients(P>0 05) Among 35 discharged patients, the length of stay was 8-21 days, and the average length of stay was(12±3)days There was no correlation between length of stay and age(P>0 05) Conclusion The novel coronavirus pneumonia cases in Ningxia area have obvious family aggregation and regional clustering, which suggests that regional specific measurement should be taken to fulfill the precision prevention needs among high risk population and area
