The Synthesis of 3,4-Disubstituted Dihydroquinolin-2(1H)-One Under Metal-Free Conditions in Aqueous Solution

A facile synthesis of 3,4-dihydroquinolone and related naphthyridone derivatives via a metal-free radical tandem cyclization is developed.
