The invention provides a corridor lamp brightness control method and system, and belongs to the field of Internet of Things and cloud computing. Photosensitive sensors are arranged in an outdoor environment and an indoor room respectively for collecting indoor and outdoor lighting conditions and transmit the indoor and outdoor lighting conditions to a cloud control server; meanwhile, a monitor is arranged in a corridor, a monitor video is transmitted to a corresponding video processing module and a video controller connected with the video processing module transmits a signal to the cloud control server once detecting that a person passes through the corridor in the video; and the cloud control server carries out comprehensive analysis according to collected indoor and outdoor lighting condition data and video controller data, and then transmits the final control signal to a control device on a corridor lamp to adjust the brightness of the lamp. Intelligent control on the corridor lamp can be achieved by virtue of the system and the energy-saving effect is reached.
