Optical collisions and redistribution in the presence of an intense driving field

Optical collisions are described in terms of a field-dependent collision operator. Using this formalism together with a perturbation-extrapolation method, we derive explicit expressions for the absorption and fluorescence profiles at high driving fiehd intensities.
