The Purpose of this study is to develop a regional input-output model in tabular format to give an analysis on the regional industrial landscape of Goyang City, Gyounggi-do, Korea. With this, it is primarily intended to provide an alternative prospect on the policy development. To serve this purpose, we utilized the National Inter-Industry Relation Table published by Bank of Korea, 2003 and processed the LQ through Gauss statistic software suite so that a regional inter-industry relation table in the format of (I-Ad)-1 using domestic transactions within the complementary import table that is the singular regional model though the said analysis process. With the array of production inducement coefficient calculated from this regional inter-industrial table on the basis interrelated, the Hawkins-Simon condition (H-S condition) was verified to draw a transactional table, which was in turn used to validate the input coefficient array for any miscalculations. Also, the regional inter-industrial relation analysis model was then again utilized to conduct economic effect analysis, from which production inducement effects, labor inducement effects, impact factor, sensitivity factor and other multiplier factors for calculations were induced. The overall analysis outcome in this study showed that it is recommend for the city to facilitate the growth of regional industries such as printing, publishing and copying, paper-related products, furniture and other manufacturing businesses, service industries including social services, wholesale/retail businesses, education, health care, real estates and corporate service businesses. Especially, printing, publishing and copying, furniture and other manufacturing businesses could be deemed as the 3 key industries that require strategic facilitation to boost growth in order to realized the vision of Goyang city as a self-sustainable urban economy.
