Single-machine integrated scheduling model considering maintenance activities

To solve unavailable time constraint problem that was generated by equipment maintenance activities in single machine scheduling,a hybrid maintenance strategy with the combination of the condition-based preventive maintenance based on failure rate threshold and the minor repair based on age was adopted.By considering the relationship between the unavailable times,the degradation of equipment and the number of maintenance actions in preventive maintenance process,the job processing order and preventive maintenance of failure rate threshold were taken as the decision variables and the minimum total expected completion time of jobs was taken as the optimal objective to build a integrated model.Intelligent optimization algorithms were used to optimize the problem and compare this integrated model to previous works.The experimental results showed that the proposed integrated model could shorten the total expected completion time of jobs and improve the production efficiency.
