de Sitter Moduli Stabilisation in LARGE volume models

This GONG-show tries to summarise the work presented in [S. Krippendorf, F. Quevedo, arXiv:0901.0683 [hep-th] . In particular we study the influence of anomalous U (1) symmetries and their induced D-term potential on the vacuum structure of IIB stringy models with LARGE volume minimum. Here we focus on the ISS model [K.A. Intriligator, N. Seiberg, D. Shih, JHEP 0604 , 021 (2006)] with an anomalous U (1) symmetry in the background geometry of P [ 1 , 1 , 1 , 6 , 9 ] and find an example of de Sitter moduli stabilisation.
