Active disturbance rejection control and chaos optimization for strip width and gauge multivariable systems

In view of the complexity of double-input and double-output systems with large time-delay,a multivariable active disturbance rejection controller(ADRC) is proposed for strip width and gauge multivariable systems.It is constructed by the cascade of a static decoupling compensatory unit with the simplified model.With the high efficiency of global searching,the mutative scale chaos optimization method is introduced to optimize the parameters of ADRC.The simulation results show that the proposed ADRC produces better disturbances rejection and robustness than the conventional PID controller.
