Research on the Image Segmentation Count Method Based on the Connected Domain

Image segmentation is the image processing to extract the key technology of information in a particular area. The existing main methods of image segmentation can be divided into the threshold segmentation method, region segmentation method, edge detecting and based on certain theory such as fuzzy theory method, this paper proposes a image segmentation method based on connected domain markers, and applied to the rice counting aspects in agriculture, and the results show that this approach has high accuracy in rice counting ways and research value.
