Relaciones entre pensamiento histórico y pensamiento crítico en la enseñanza de las ciencias sociales en la educación básica secundaria

2015
The teaching of Social Sciences in most cases has been reduced to the narration of a series of events that have affected humanity, placing them in a specific time and space, which has contributed to the reduction of the their role in the classroom, as simple spectators of the Social Sciences and who specifically see the history class as a "screen", in which events appear that have little or nothing to do with their present and much less are related to planning of your future. The aforementioned reality ignores the importance of history, since Febvre defined history as: "the need that each human group experiences, at every moment of its evolution, to seek and give value in the past to facts, events, the tendencies that prepare the present time, that allow to understand it and help to live it "(Febvre cited in Pereyra et al., 2005 p. 21).
