A method of operating an internal combustion engine with at least two turbochargers

2004
A method of operating an internal combustion engine (100) with at least two turbochargers (6, 8, 101; 7, 9, 102), wherein for the at least two exhaust-gas turbocharger (6, 8, 101; 7, 9, 102) respectively, an actuator (110 , 18; 111, 19) for influencing (from the compressors 8, 9) of the at least two exhaust-gas turbocharger (6, 8, 101; boost pressure of 7, 9, 102) produced is controlled by a separate control signal, characterized in that at least one the drive signals in the sense of a synchronization of the at least two exhaust-gas turbocharger (6, 8, 101; 7, 9, 102) controlled is corrected, wherein the at least one of the control signals by means of a characteristic curve or a characteristic diagram (105, 106, 107) is corrected, wherein the characteristic curve or the characteristic map for the operating point-dependent compensation on an engine test or in driving tests are determined.
