Wasteland management and planning for sustainable development in Bharatpur District, Rajasthan

This paper is an attempt to systematically analyse problems and issues of wasteland management and link it to the sustainable development of Bharatpur district of Rajasthan. The study is based on data of general land use pattern of Bharatpur district in 1991-92 and 2001-02 from revenue records of the district. For sustainable development of area suggestions have been given to use wasteland in meaningful way applying area specific measures of land development,
