ANÁLISE PROSPECTIVA DO MERCADO DE CAPITAIS BRASILEIRO PÓS-COVID19: UMA VISÃO MACROECONÔMICA

The new Coronavirus pandemic has brought a list of new challenges for humanity. Many habits, processes and customs have undergone profound changes, challenging the best scenario predictions. This uncertainty leads us to the main question of this article: what are the possible macroeconomic scenarios for Brazil and how would these scenarios impact the IBOVESPA and IFIX indices? To obtain a reasonable answer to this question, recognized tools were used that support the process of preparing prospective scenarios. At the end, three scenarios were identified for the post-pandemic period: an optimistic scenario, a pessimistic scenario and a maintenance scenario.
