CHANGE IN INHIBITORY G PROTEIN OF RAT MYOCARDIUM AFTER HYPOXIA COMBINED WITH SOMAN INTOXICATION
2003
Objective To study the change in inhibitory G protein of rat myocardium after hypoxia combined with soman intoxication so as to provide theoretical basis for clinical therapy. Methods Wistar rats were randomly divided in to four groups: normal control group, high altitude hypoxia group, soman intoxication group and hypoxia +soman intoxication group. The expression of Giα mRNA and the concentration of Giα were measured by RT-PCR and Western blot technique. Results Both the expression of Giα mRNA and the concentration of Giα were decreased after hypoxia or soman and combined treatments. Compared with soman intoxication group, the expression of Giα mRNA in the rat myocardiun was inhibited by 4.1% (P0.05)and the concentration of Giα was decreased by 7.5% (P0.05) 24 h after soman intoxication combined with hypoxia. Conclusion The change in inhibitory G protein may be an important cause to aggravate heart damage of soman intoxication under the condition of hypoxia.
