The results of this study were as follows.; First, grit partially mediated the relation from positive emotions and negative emotions to life satisfaction. Second, grit partially mediated the relation from positive emotions and negative emotions to stress. Third, stress partially mediated the relation from positive emotions and negative emotions to life satisfaction. Fourth, grit and stress doubly mediated the relation from positive emotions and negative emotions to life satisfaction. The results of this study suggest that, in order to increase high school teachers' life satisfaction, it is necessary to help them experience more positive emotions and less negative emotions, raise grit, and reduce stress.
