La era de la economía naranja

The dynamics of the current international system are marked or influenced by the phenomenon of globalization, with an increasing demand for more competitive and innovative markets. In this scenario, the products of orange economy become more important for States, international organizations, ngos and other actors due to their cultural value and intellectual property, reflecting the wealth of a given nation. Expressions of orange economy are social representations through art, media, design and cultural heritage, among others. An example of the above was the nomination of the Colombian film El abrazo de la serpiente. One factor that affects the development of the orange economy is piracy; in the face of this bane, Unesco has, in collaboration with the States and the international community, progressively developed a series of regulations for the intellectual protection of these products.
