Waste of sulfuric acid manufacture as a source of noble metals

Cinders of sulfuric acid plant are promising raw material for Au and Ag recovery. They contain Au in both invisible and free forms and Ag, as submicron inclusions in litharge (PbO). Calculations and direct observations show concentration of Au and Ag, which precipitate at the beginning of the gas purification process.
