Liquid personal cleansing compositions which contain a striped cleaning phase and a separate benefit phase comprising a water in oil emulsion.

A composition striped personal cleansing comprising: (a) a first stripe comprising a cleansing phase comprising a surfactant and water; and (b) at least one additional stripe comprising a benefit phase comprising a water in oil emulsion; wherein the cleansing phase and the benefit phase are packaged in physical contact with one another and maintain stability, wherein the cleansing phase additionally comprises laminating, wherein the cleaning step comprises a structurant: (i) at least an anionic surfactant; (Ii) at least one electrolyte; (Iii) at least one alkanolamide; and wherein the cleansing phase is non-Newtonian phase reducing shear and has a viscosity less than 3 kg / ms (3,000 cP).
