Derivative of 14,15-dihydro 20,21-dinoreburnamenin-14-ol and their use for the treatment of depressions

The invention relates to new derivatives of 14,15-dihydro-20,21-dinoreburnamenin14-ol of the formula (I) wherein R represents a hydrogen atom, and there is a double bond between carbons 14 and 15, or a radical -OR ', wherein R' represents a group selected from the group consisting of alkyl C1-C6, alkenyl, C1-C6 alkynyl C1-C6 aralkyl, esters of formula -R1-CO-O-R2; amides of the formula -R3-CO-NZY wherein Y and Z may together form a cycloalkyl or a heterocyclic radical, optionally substituted by one or more alkyl radicals; a radical selected from the group consisting of alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl substituted by at least one amine of formula -NZY; or one of its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, including its isomers, enantiomers, diastereomers and mixtures thereof, useful in particular for the treatment of depression in humans and sleep-wake cycle disorders.
