Incorporation of a PDF Data Type into a Clinical Data Repository to Support Access to Low-volume Reports with Complex Formatting

Abstract This poster describes the methodology for integrating complex, low volume reports from clinical service departments into a Clinical Data Repository. A procedure for uploading reports in a Portable Digital Format (PDF) and linking them to an existing patient record was devised by the Enterprise Information Services (EIS) department at Cedars-Sinai Health System (CSHS).
