Allelopathy of Festuca arundinacea,Trifolium repens and Medicago sativa to Lespedeza formosa

By the experiments of water culture and sand culture,the allelopathy of Trifolium repens,Festuca arundinacea,and Medicago sativa to Lespedeza formosa was studied in this paper.The results indicated that the water extractant of T.repens and F.arundinacea had an obvious inhibition to the germination rate and dynamics of L.formosa seeds and the inhibition was increased with the increase of extractant concentration.The water extractant of M.sativa had promoted the germination of L.formosa seeds,while the water extractant of M.sativa had an obvious inhibition to the growth of L.formosa radicles.The culture with three water eatractants indicated that when the three extractants mixed,the germination of L.formosa seeds was mild promoted instead of to be inhibited.
