Study on the Prevention and Elimination Effect of 10% Nicosulfuron OF on Weeds in Maize Field

[Objective] The research aimed to study the prevention and elimination effect of 10% nicosulfuron OF on weeds in main maize production field.[Method] A new kind of environment-friendly preparation—10% nicosulfuron OF was taken as trial insecticide for weeding test of pesticide effectiveness in 4 representative main maize-producing areas in 2009.[Result] The results showed that 10% nicosulfuron OF had a good control effects on one-year-old weeds,moreover,no negative effects on maize growth.The dosage of 375-525 ml/hm2 was recommended units.[Conclusion] The study can provide reference for deeply application of 10% nicosulfuron OF.
