Researching on Infiltration Property of Aluminum Hydroxide filler in Resin-based Composites

This paper analyzed the infiltration effects brought by various surface characteristics of aluminum hydroxide(AH),which as filler in composite.The effects of different drying conditions on the whiteness,color,DOP,and micrograin's morphology of AH were discussed,as well as on the color,application viscosity and transparency of artificial marble,manufactured by such AH.Focused on the change of composites' infiltration property resulted from a partial overbaked surfaces of AH,modified to γ-Al2O3 by partially dehydrating the crystal water.
