Substituted benzenes XIV-normal coordinate analysis of out-of-plane vibrations of anisoles

A normal coordinate analysis was made for the out-of-plane vibrations of anisole-d 0 , anisole-d 3 , anisole-d 5 and anisole-d 8 using a 14-parameter modified valence force field. The force constants were refined using least-squares method employing vibrational fundamentals of the four molecules
