Method and system for providing additional contents using augmented reality

PURPOSE: A method and a system for providing additional contents by using augmented reality are provided to supply additional contents to a user after separating the additional contents from augmented reality based image in order to provide the user with proper additional contents. CONSTITUTION: An encoding server(110) receives an image including more than one marker. Then the encoding server encodes the received image and transfers the encoded image. An image analysis server(120) tracks the marker by analyzing the image, and generates marker information and marker position information. If it is requested by a user terminal(160) the provision of the contents including user identification information and the marker information, a contents providing server(150) transfers the user identification information and the contents information to the user terminal.
