The Design and Implementation of Application Level Transparent FireWall System Based on Windows Sockets 2 Architecture

One of the primary goals of Windows Sockets 2 has been to provide a protocol-independent interface to access diverse underlying transport protocols. This paper will describe how to implement FireWall system, which is application layer transparent, based on Windows Sockets 2 architecture using SSL protocol as an example.
