Automatic residual adhesive cleaning method

The invention discloses an automatic residual adhesive cleaning method. The automatic residual adhesive cleaning method is suitable for cleaning residual adhesive in a needle head of a hot melt adhesive dispensing machine. The hot melt adhesive dispensing machine comprises an adhesive dispensing device with the needle head, a working platform and a controller, and the adhesive cleaning region of the working platform is provided with a metal plate with smooth surface and a residual adhesive gathering box; the automatic residual adhesive cleaning method includes steps that controlling adhesive flushing air pressure to flush most of the residual adhesive from a needle nozzle after moving the adhesive dispensing device to the adhesive cleaning region, moving the adhesive dispensing device to the upside of the metal plate, stopping for at least 0.1 seconds, wherein the distance between the needle nozzle and the metal plate is 0.1 to 0.5 millimeters, and the residual adhesive falls off to contact with the metal plate under the gravity effect; controlling the adhesive dispensing device to slowly move towards the upside to enable the needle nozzle to keep away from the metal plate, wherein the residual adhesive keeps away from the needle head and attaches to the metal plate under the gravity and adhesive force effect to finish the residual adhesive cleaning from the needle head. The automatic residual adhesive cleaning method does not use chemical solvent and only adds the metal plate; the automatic residual adhesive cleaning method is simple, practical, environmental friendly, low in cost and high in efficiency.
