HAVING browsed through the lectures of past years by Ray Brown, Jack Masur, George Bugbee, Ed Crosby, Walter McNerney and especially the very first lecture by Dr. Wilinsky himself, I have been reminded of the high standard that has been set and is to be maintained, if one is to do justice to this occasion and to pay adequate tribute to Dr. Wilinsky.
