Studies on synthesis and antioxidative activity of transitional complexes of PMBP-benzoyl hydrazone

The 1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-hydroxy-4-pyrazolyl phenyl ketone benzoyl hydrazone(H2PBB) was prepared by condensation of 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-5-pyrazolone with benzoyl hydrazine. Six complexes of transition with H2PBB have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of elemental analyses, IR, UV, 1H NMR spectra and thermal analyses. The results show that the transition complexes of F2PBB have antioxidative acivity to certain extent.
