Higher risk of persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn after cesarean

Abstract Authors suggest that high incidence of persistence pulmonary hypertension among neonates delivered by elective cesarean is related to lower levels of circulating norepinephrine in neonates after cesarean section than after vaginal delivery.
