Уровень гомоцистеина и показатели липидного спектра у детей с гастроэнтерологической патологией

Homocysteine level and lipid composition were studied in 366 cases of children with gastroenterological pathology. Hyperhomocysteinemia was detected in children`s serum in investigated group. An increase of atherogenic lipoprotein level was detected in children with increased content of homocysteine. In spite of a synergism between homocysteine level and lipid composition changes, a correlation analysis detected a weak correlation between these biochemical markers.
