Gene duplication in the epigenomic era: Roles of chromatin modifications

2008
Gene duplications, by providing DNA material for evolutionary innovations, have contributed significantly to the complexity in the structure and function of the primate genomes. However, our knowledge remains poor in terms of how this important evolutionary process is influenced and regulated by chromatin structure and epigenetic modifications.
