Reliability evaluation of 20 kW solar power station in grid-connected mode (a case study)

In this paper, the reliability of a sample solar plant is investigated because of plying an essential role in consent of different stakeholders in connection to national electricity network. Continuous-time Markov chain method is selected as computational method in this paper and also because of the increasing importance of reliability studies in power systems and existence of an integrated and unified structure in performing these studies, data processing and collection system in Iran's national electricity network that has an essential role in reliability studies is shown. Since production sector and distribution sector power systems are different for investigating reliability evaluation and performance, their reliability indicators are separately presented.
