Ceramics overview: classification by microstructure and processing methods.

2010
Abstract The plethora of ceramic systems available today for all types of indirect restorations can be confusing--and overwhelming--for the clinician. Having a better understanding of them is key. The authors use classification systems based on the microstructural components of ceramics and the processing techniques to help illustrate the various properties and uses.
