STUDY ON OPTIMIZATION OF BIOLOGICAL VARIABLES IN THE SOLID - STATE FERMENTATION OF METARHIZIUM ANISOPLIAE

2004
Metarhizium anisopliae is a kind of fungal insecticide. The effects of biological variables, such as inoculation ratio, seed age and seed generation etc. , on growth and sporification of Metarhizium anisopliae in solid - state fermentation were investigated. The technology of two - stage fermentation was also studied. The results showed that optimal biological conditions of solid - state fermentation of Metarhizium anisopliae were as following: inoculation ratio 2.5g/100g and seed age 6 days. The maximum spore yield reached to 1.531×1010/g dry medium in 6 day culture by inoculating the second generation seed.
