Aqueous emulsion of chlorinated polyolefin, its preparation, coating agent containing the same and its use

1993
PURPOSE: To prepare an emulsifier-free emulsion with a good stability and useful for coating plastic substrates or the like, which contains an epoxide resin, organic solvents, water and a chlorinated polyolefin in a specific weight ratio of the epoxide resin to the chlorinated polyolefin. CONSTITUTION: This emulsion contains, by weight, (A) 10-70% of an epoxide resin, (B) 5-50% of organic solvents (preferably aromatic solvents) having a boiling point of 100-160°C, (C) 10-70% of water, and (D) a chlorinated polyolefin in a weight ratio of component A/D of (10-0.5) to (10/4.5). Further, preferable contents are; component A is 20-45%, component B is 20-35%, component C is 35-60%, component D is 20-40%. COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
