Evolution of Control and Supervision Systems of Regional Transmission of CVG EDELCA's Substations

This work shows the most important characteristics of the modernization process of control and supervision systems of the Regional Transmission Substations of 400 kV of CVG EDELCA. Going from the application of conventional control and supervision systems (remote terminal units) to the application of numerical control systems; comparing the most important aspects from the point of view of operation and maintenance.
