Radiology in Medical School: A Missing Piece of the Puzzle?

Diagnostic Imaging plays a pivotal role in the delivery of first-rate healthcare. Despite this, formal instruction in this field is largely limited to postgraduate residency programs. The current methods of teaching radiology in undergraduate medical education are often inconsistent and informal. Instituting a mandatory clerkship rotation in radiology would facilitate proficiency amoung medical students, residents, and physicians of all disciplines.
