Design of Data Acquisition Service Platform Based on Satellite Mobile Communication

With the application of big data gradually infiltrating into every corner of human activities, the existing ground network has slowly been unable to meet the data acquisition needs of large-scale, cross-regional, harsh environment and other scenarios. In order to solve the problems of mismatch between service capacity and demands, other countries have started the research and exploration of satellite-based data acquisition system as early as the end of the 20th century. However, the data acquisition method based on traditional satellite communication system still has some obvious shortcomings, such as large size, low portability, long time of linking, unable to support mobile communication, etc. Satellite mobile communication system has the characteristics of wide area coverage, all-weather communication and so on. It can be more flexible and reliable to meet the diverse application scenarios and multi-field needs of various services. At the same time, the terminal is also based on the design of miniaturized intelligent platform, which has the advantages of light weight, small volume, fast speed and so on. In addition, due to the omnidirectional antenna, it will no longer need to search satellite frequently after entering the network, and can be used directly on mobile cars and ships. Therefore, the construction of data acquisition system based on Tiantong mobile communication satellite can make up for the needs of users in narrowband data acquisition and accompanying position movement. This paper comprehensively analyzes the characteristics of using satellite mobile communication system to realize data acquisition, and puts forward a complete system design framework, which is beneficial to the subsequent large-scale application.
