Pístis, dóxa y epistéme. Un análisis de la relación entre el Gorgias y el Menón

The aim of this paper is to examine the notion of persuasion as presented by Plato in the Gorgias, taking as point of departure the type of persuasion which produces true belief. For this purpose we aim to make explicit the criterion used by Plato to distinguish between true belief and knowledge as well as to point how that issue needs to be clarified by means of the distinction between doxa, alethes and epsiteme as they are established by Plato in the Meno.
