The Improved Equilibrium Optimization Algorithm with Tent Map

We all know that the chaos could be introduced to the bionic algorithms and improve their capabilities. It can be used to spread the populations at the initializing phase, it can be also used to map the best candidate for another iteration choice. In this paper, we introduce the Tent map to the equilibrium optimization algorithm (EOA) and results show that the first mapping would fail and the second mapping increase the performance of the chaotic EOA dramatically compared to the original one.
