Apex as a marker of lung cancer

Method for evaluating in vitro lung cancer, which comprises measuring in a sample the presence or concentration, or both, of: (a) AP endonuclease (APEX) in a sample selected from tissue extracts and body fluids, (b ) optionally another or other markers of lung cancer, and (c) using the result of the measurement of stage (a), and optionally of stage (b), in the evaluation of lung cancer, in which the detection The increased presence or concentration, or both, of APEX, is indicative of lung cancer.
