Method for regenerating catalyst

The invention relates to a method for regenerating a catalyst. The catalyst is applied to the preparation of acrylic acid from acrolein through oxidation and has a general formula as follows: Mo V Cu W X Y O , wherein X is at least one of Nb, Sb, Te, Ca, Ba and Zn; Y is one of Sr, Ni, La, Ce, Nd, Sm and Cs; a is 1.5 to 8.0; b is 0.1 to 5.0; c is 0.5 to 5.0; d is 0.1 to 4.0; e is 0.1 to 2.0; and f is a numerical value determined by oxidation numbers of component elements. The method comprises the following steps: (a) crushing the catalyst to be regenerated, and preparing a suspension; (b) carrying out heat preservation for 30 to 120 minutes at the temperature of 40 DEG C to 100 DEG C; (c) supplementing lost elements so as to enable the final catalyst to meet the stoichiometric amount of the general formula; and (d) carrying out drying, and carrying out forming roasting.
