White Matter NAA/Cho and Cho/Cr Ratios at MR Spectroscopy Are Predictive of Motor Outcome in Preterm Infants
2014
MR spectroscopy performed at term-corrected age in babies born very preterm demonstrated an increased white matter choline (Cho)–to-creatine ratio and a decreased N-acetylaspartate–to-Cho ratio in those with suboptimal composite motor scores and scaled gross motor scores at a corrected age of 1 year.
