AVALIAÇÃO DAS VULNERABILIDADES NATURAL, ANTRÓPICA E TOTAL E PERIGO À CONTAMINAÇÃO DO AQUÍFERO UTIARITI NA CIDADE DE SINOP (MT), USANDO OS MÉTODO VAN E POSH.:
2021
This research was carried out in Sinop city, Mato Grosso State, Brazil, to evaluate the vulnerability and danger to the contamination of the Utiariti Aquifer, using the VAN and POSH methods. The VAN method estimates the natural, anthropic and total vulnerabilities. The classes of natural vulnerability were moderate, low and negligible; the anthropic classes were moderate, low and negligible and the classes of total VAN extreme, very high, high, moderate and low. The classes of natural and anthropogenic vulnerability are the same, but the natural vulnerability classes are distributed continuously, and the anthropic classes are discreetly due to the types of subsurface uses. The aquifer has a different vulnerability from the natural, only where the use of the subsoil occurs. These results show that in areas where the use of the subsoil occurs, a vulnerability method should be used that estimates the impact of this use on the vulnerability of the aquifer, since they are important data to elaborate plans of prevention and remediation to the contamination of aquifers. Considering that the total VAN vulnerability is the most real vulnerability of the aquifer, then the aquifer needs greater care in extreme, very high, high and moderate vulnerability locations.
