Highly oxidation-resistant ferrite stainless steel plate, highly heat-resistant ferrite stainless steel plate, and manufacturing method therefor

2011
Even at high temperatures around 1000°C, the disclosed ferrite stainless steel plate exhibits high oxidation resistance and excellent resistance to scale peeling. Said ferrite stainless steel plate contains at most 0.020% carbon, at most 0.020% nitrogen, greater than 0.10% and up to 0.35% silicon, between 0.10% and 0.60% manganese, between 16.5% and 20.0% chromium, between 0.30% and 0.80% niobium, greater than 2.50% and up to 3.50% molybdenum, and between 1.00% and 2.50% copper. The disclosed ferrite stainless steel plate exhibits a scale peeling amount of no more than 1.0 mg/cm², and after 200 hours at 1000°C in an atmospheric continuous oxidation test, exhibits an oxidation mass increase of no more than 4.0 mg/cm².
